Mac4Sale was started in February 1998 and has been a continuous source for selling and buying Macintosh computers, accessories, software and related items. Mac4sale has been a classified ads site, then an auction site, a different classified ads site, and now an online store that is integrated with eBay. You can count on Mac4Sale to be a continuing supporter of the Macintosh Community.
Macintosh computers have been a vital part of the computer industry since 1984 when the first macintosh, the Mac 128k came into being. Since then we have seen the advent of the Mac 512K, the Mac 512Ke, then the Mac SE, SE 30, Mac II, Mac IIx, Mac IIcx and Mac IIfx. Then the Performa line came out. It brought a number of products as well as a path to upgrade to the new PowerPC line of Mac Computers. The PowerPC series used the PPC 601 chip and the 603e chip. Then came the G3 or third generation Macs. The G3 series started with a desktop and tower units, then the "Blue and white" G3 tower. The fourth generation PowerPC chips brought the G4 series, the G5 series, and now the MacPro, iMac and MacBook Intel Chip series. This version of Mac4Sale went online August, 2010. |
